Trevor Ebanks

About the Author

Trevor D. Ebanks was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Both of his parents were from the small Caribbean island of Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands which he has always regarded as home. He attended Excelsior High School in Kingston. After leaving high school, he taught at elementary schools in Cayman Brac before going on to get his B. Sc. In Elementary Education at William Carey College (now William Carey University) in Hattiesburgh, Mississippi.  He later returned to Mississippi to earn his Master’s of Education in Education Administarion at Ole Miss (The University of Mississippi) . He taught for many years in schools on Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman. He has three children and five grand-children. He currently  lives in Varzea Grande, Matto Grosso, Brazil with his life partner, Nelson and their five dogs, Amigo, Desiree, Charlotte, Prince and Montezuma.
