Dreamweaver

I sit at the edge of reality and spin

Out where fantasies and illusions begin

Nothing is ever quite what it seems

Not when you are a weaver of dreams

Stardust and moondust

Straw into gold

Visions that shimmer

Impossible to hold

Reflections on water

A ripple, they’re gone

Like diamond dewdrops

Sparkling at dawn

Cloud creatures scurry

Chased by the sun

A blink and another

Dream has begun

Measuring out each delicate thread

Weaving a dream inside your head

The woof and the warp

The web and the weave

I’ll weave you a dream

If you’ll only believe

A dream of love, of riches, of fame

A dream of things without any name

A dream of passion, of power, of glory

A dream that begins another love story

A dream of happiness, of joy, of peace

A dream you wish never to cease

A dream that you hope

Will someday come true

But I am just the weaver

Reality is up to you
